An original design by Toshimitsu Sasaki to match today's lifestyle, the 'Wavok' stool is expertly crafted from Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica), a wood that represents Japan throughout the world. The cedar is strengthened by HIDA's perfection of a heat compression process and the stool is then hand shaped using a plane and sandpaper prior to being sealed.
