An archetypal overstuffed easy chair, the Tired Man was designed in 1935 and remains as comfortable and cozy as ever. Its organic shapes, curved form, and voluminous armrests give it a bearlike appearance — and sitting in the chair should, in its designer's own words, be "as warm and safe as a polar bear cub in the arms of its mother in the middle of the ice cap."

Relaunched in 2015, the award-winning Tired Man is now offered in plush sheepskin as a nod to the original, with oak heartwood legs and front brass casters for easy movement. A matching ottoman is available to elevate its comfort.
