In its own modest and simple way, the Round Chair sums up the very essence of traditional Danish woodworking and design philosophy. It is one of the most famous pieces of furniture to hail from Denmark, considered the magnum opus of designer Hans Wegner and a main force in the international breakthrough of the Danish Modern style.

Each Round Chair is crafted from three sections of wood cut in line with one another from a freshly-felled tree; these raw pieces are then conditioned for several years, a delicate process that relies on the nature of the material and generations of experience.
