Hand-woven in looms by master weavers, the Baetón rug is crafted from pure, hand-spun criolla wool. Ancient techniques find a fresh new approach with colors derived from natural flora, creating rich undertones and nuanced shades that highlight the intricacies of the rug's texture. The Baetón weave features a very subtle profile of less than a quarter inch, with a uniquely dense and compact structure that has weight to it despite its slimness. Either side of the rug can be placed face-up.

Each rug is entirely handmade, from shearing the wool, to refining the yarn, to weaving the final piece. No two are quite alike.
